Welcome to Pattern & Plume!
All our collars are handmade with care and attention to detail. By placing an order with us (whether through our website or at a craft fair), you’re agreeing to the terms and conditions below.

1. Handmade with Love

Each collar is made by hand, which means every piece is unique. Small variations in colour, pattern placement, or finish are normal and part of the charm of buying handmade.

2. Orders and Custom Work

Custom orders are made especially for you and may take a little longer than standard items. Please check the estimated turnaround time before ordering.
Custom pieces (including any personalised text or personalised pattern) are created to your specifications, they can’t be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include any applicable UK taxes. Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering.

4. Shipping and Delivery

We post all orders using Royal Mail Signed For or Tracked services to ensure safe delivery.
You can select your preferred delivery method at checkout.
Custom orders may take longer to dispatch — we’ll always keep you updated if there are any delays. Please get in touch with us if you require an order by a certain date. Whilst we might not be able to guarantee this, we will try our best to accommodate your request. 
Once posted, we can’t take responsibility for delays caused by Royal Mail or other postal services.

5. Returns and Refunds

We hope you love your purchase! However if you change your mind, you can return standard (non-custom) items within 30 days of delivery for a refund.
Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging.
If the item has been used, damaged, or altered, we are not obliged to refund or replace it.
To start a return, please contact us at contact@patternandplume.co.uk with your order details.

6. Product Care and Safety

Our collars are designed for everyday use, but please check your dog’s collar regularly for signs of wear or damage.
We can’t accept responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from misuse or failure to inspect your pet’s accessories.
Owners are responsible for ensuring collars are used safely and appropriately.

7. Liability Disclaimer

Pattern and Plume cannot be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products.
Our collars are decorative and functional accessories but should always be used with care and supervision.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, product descriptions, photographs, and other content on our website or marketing materials are the property of Pattern and Plume.
You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our written permission.

9. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Any personal information you share with us (such as name, address, and contact details) will be used only to process and deliver your order, in accordance with UK data protection laws.
